In the run-up to the Bihar Grand Alliance seat-sharing talks, tensions are rising among allies. Mukesh Sahni, president of the Vikassheel Insaan Party, is negotiating hard for his share. Once demanding 60 seats, he now speaks of 14 or 44 but insists on the Deputy CM post. He said that 90% of the Bihar Grand Alliance seat-sharing process is complete and the final list will be announced soon. Sahni also declared that Tejashwi Yadav will lead as Chief Minister while a “boatman’s son” (referring to himself) will become Deputy CM.
He emphasized that the Grand Alliance is strong and united, with RJD, Congress, and VIP already finalizing many candidates. Campaigning has begun in several regions. Sahni added that even the BJP now accepts that a Grand Alliance government will be formed wherever he stands. Confident and assertive, Sahni believes the final decision lies with the people.
