A shocking case of Murder for Rs 7200 has shaken Samastipur district in Bihar. In this Murder for Rs 7200, a 21-year-old youth was kidnapped from his village following a dispute over a small amount of money, according to his family.
The victim was identified as Siddharth Kumar Yadav. Family members said the accused had demanded Rs 7200 from him. When Siddharth failed to pay, the situation turned violent.
On Sunday morning, the accused and his associates took Siddharth from his house. They carried him to a secluded place and brutally assaulted him with iron rods and sticks. He suffered serious injuries and lost consciousness.
Police found Siddharth in an injured condition during a routine patrol. They rushed him to the nearest primary health centre. Doctors later referred him to Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital due to his critical condition.
Despite treatment, Siddharth died on Monday. After the death, police sent the body for post-mortem examination.
Police have registered a case and started raids to arrest the accused. Family members demanded strict punishment, saying such violence over a small sum reflects growing lawlessness in the area.
