Mystery Death of Congress Leader in Bihar’s Rohtas District

Congress leader death in Rohtas, Veer Kamlesh Singh investigation scene

A shocking incident has emerged from Bihar’s Rohtas district, where the Congress leader death in Rohtas has raised serious questions. Veer Kamlesh Singh, a 63-year-old Congress leader, was found dead near Karamdih village in Nauhatta. He had gone out for election campaigning on Saturday evening but never returned home. The next morning, his blood-soaked body was discovered lying by the roadside.

Police reached the spot quickly and sent the body for post-mortem. According to witnesses, blood was seen near his eyebrows, and his head was found partly submerged in water. His broken tooth and the suspicious marks around his face led to doubts of possible murder.

Family members told police that Singh had no known enemies. They also mentioned that he sometimes stayed out during campaigns and occasionally used drugs. Because of this, his absence that night did not initially worry them.

The sudden Congress leader death in Rohtas has created panic among local residents. Police officials said the exact cause would be known only after the post-mortem report. The incident has brought grief to his supporters and highlighted the tense atmosphere during Bihar’s ongoing election season.
