Naidu Calls for Telugu Unity, Announces New Telugu University in Rajamahendravaram

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu called for greater unity among Telugu-speaking states and emphasized the importance of inter-state cooperation at the World Telugu Mahasabhalu held in Guntur on Monday. Addressing the gathering, he highlighted the need for collaboration on water-sharing projects and river interlinking initiatives to ensure sustainable development and equitable resource distribution between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Naidu also stressed the promotion of Telugu language, literature, and culture, urging both states to work together in preserving and advancing their linguistic heritage. In a major announcement, he revealed that a new Telugu University would be established in Rajamahendravaram to serve as a center for higher education, research, and cultural studies.
The Chief Minister urged policymakers, academics, and community leaders to contribute actively to strengthening bonds between Telugu states, ensuring regional development, and promoting the language globally.
