Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday said the government would take concrete steps to expand the Sanjeevani Project across A.P. He said the programme aims to strengthen preventive healthcare by using technology to track health data.

The Chief Minister explained that the initiative was launched as a pilot project in Chittoor district. The programme helps collect and analyse health information to identify risks at an early stage. Doctors and health workers can use the data to guide timely treatment.

Naidu said the pilot had shown encouraging results. He stressed that scaling up the project would improve healthcare delivery, especially in rural areas. The focus would remain on early detection and continuous monitoring of chronic diseases.

To support the expansion, the Chief Minister proposed forming special task forces. These teams would work at the village and ward levels. Their role would include spreading awareness about healthy lifestyles and regular health check-ups.

He also asked officials to involve local institutions, medical colleges, and volunteers. Public participation, he said, was essential for the project’s success.

The government plans to roll out the Sanjeevani Project across A.P. in phases. Officials have been directed to prepare a detailed roadmap and ensure smooth implementation.
