Hundreds of women gathered at Gandhi Maidan in Patna to demand Nishant Kumar as CM of Bihar. The protest took place under the banner of Sudhar Vahini. Participants sat near the statue of Mahatma Gandhi and held placards supporting Nishant Kumar.
The protesters said that if Chief Minister Nitish Kumar steps down, they want his son Nishant Kumar to lead the state. Many women praised Nitish Kumar’s policies, especially initiatives they believe helped empower women in Bihar.
Protesters also highlighted Nishant Kumar’s simple lifestyle and said they trust him to continue his father’s work. They raised slogans in his support and claimed he could protect the development achieved during Nitish Kumar’s tenure.
Organisers warned that the movement could grow if authorities ignore their demand for Nishant Kumar as CM of Bihar. The protest has sparked fresh political discussion in Bihar as speculation continues about the state’s future leadership.
