The Nishant Kumar Entry in JDU has triggered strong political discussion in Bihar. Senior minister Ashok Choudhary said the party might have faced a split if Nishant Kumar had not joined. He added that many workers believed the Nishant Kumar Entry in JDU was necessary to keep the party united.
Choudhary revealed that Nishant Kumar himself was not very eager to join politics. Even Chief Minister Nitish Kumar initially did not push for it. However, party workers insisted that his entry would strengthen the organization and maintain unity within the party.
After formally joining the Janata Dal (United), Nishant Kumar has become more active in party activities. Choudhary also said that JDU leaders and workers are ready to work under his leadership in the future.
Meanwhile, some supporters have even started raising slogans and holding demonstrations demanding that Nishant Kumar become the next Chief Minister after Nitish Kumar.
