The Bihar government has increased security for Nishant Kumar. Nishant Kumar Granted Z Security Cover, giving him one of the highest security levels in the state. Nishant Kumar is the son of Nitish Kumar. Officials reviewed the threat level before making the decision.
Under the Z category, around 22 security personnel will protect him. The team includes trained commandos and escort vehicles. Officials say the decision will help ensure better safety as his public role grows. This means Nishant Kumar Granted Z Security Cover after a detailed security review.
The government also increased protection for JD(U) leader Shravan Kumar. He will now receive Y-Plus security along with an escort facility.
At the same time, authorities reduced the security of BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Vijay Kumar Sinha. His security moved from Z-Plus to Z category.
Officials reviewed the security arrangements of several leaders in Bihar after recent political changes in the state government.
