Talk around Nishant Kumar’s political entry has grown louder after senior JD(U) leader Sanjay Jha openly supported the idea. He said party workers strongly favor Nishant Kumar’s political entry and believe he can play a bigger role in public life.
Nishant is the son of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Jha said many leaders in Janata Dal (United) want him to join politics soon. He added that Nishant’s decision will remain personal and the party will respect his choice.
Jha also mentioned that some party members have suggested sending him to the Rajya Sabha. However, the final decision will depend on party leadership.
Political discussions in Bihar have intensified in recent days. So far, Nishant Kumar has not made any public statement about entering politics.
