The Nitish government to give 2 lakh rupees loan to Jeevika Didi scheme will help women in Bihar. Around 10,000 women will get loans up to ₹2 lakh by March. The scheme supports women to start small businesses or expand existing work.
Loans will come from the Jeevika Bank. Women can apply for ₹15,000, ₹75,000, or ₹2 lakh. Government staff at state, district, and block levels will help them apply online and submit documents.
A new online system will check applications within two to three days. Once approved, the loan money will go directly into the women’s bank accounts.
To guide women properly, 150 master trainers will teach Jeevika Didi members how to use the loan and manage money.
