Union Minister Chirag Paswan said “Nitish Kumar dignity will remain” even if leadership changes in Bihar. He made the remark amid strong speculation about a possible change in the chief minister’s post in the state.
Speaking to reporters in Patna, Paswan said Nitish Kumar dignity will remain regardless of political developments. He praised the long experience and contributions of Nitish Kumar and said both the state and central leadership would continue to respect him.
Political discussions increased after Nitish Kumar won a seat in the Rajya Sabha and resigned from the Bihar Legislative Council. Reports suggest he may step down as chief minister once he takes oath as a Rajya Sabha member, which could lead to the formation of a new government in Bihar.
Paswan also criticized Tejashwi Yadav for allegedly making statements that harm Bihar’s image during election campaigns in other states.
