Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday (September 17, 2025) praised India’s armed forces. He said our soldiers brought Pakistan to its knees during Operation Sindoor. Mr. Modi spoke at a rally in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh on his birthday, where people greeted him with loud cheers.
He said, “Crores of mothers and sisters in India have been blessing me.” He repeated that our soldiers brought Pakistan to its knees in the blink of an eye. The crowd responded with applause as he described the bravery of the troops.
The Prime Minister hailed Operation Sindoor as a decisive strike. He explained that the pre-dawn attacks on May 7 destroyed nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). These strikes came as a direct response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.
Mr. Modi told the gathering that India will never compromise with terrorism. He said the armed forces will hit back with full strength whenever the nation faces a threat. His remarks connected strongly with the people, who celebrated both his birthday and the military victory.
