Asaduddin Owaisi has become active in the Bihar elections and directly attacked Tejashwi Yadav in a speech at Madhubani’s Zero Mile. Owaisi said the BJP wins because Tejashwi’s voters are “sitting on Modi’s lap and drinking tea.” He accused Tejashwi of failing to convince his voters and blamed him for BJP’s rise. Owaisi warned that if Tejashwi remains arrogant, Bihar will suffer.
Continuing his attack, Owaisi said the Muslim community must build its own leadership. “Seventy years is enough to understand that without self-leadership, our issues remain unsolved,” he told the crowd. He noted that Muslims form 19% of Bihar’s population and no government can be formed without their support.
Owaisi added, “We don’t want Nitish Kumar and the BJP to return to power.” He urged Muslims and youth to think about their future and stand united. He also revealed that AIMIM wrote to Congress and Lalu Yadav seeking an alliance but got no reply.
According to Owaisi, the BJP wins because of Tejashwi’s weak strategy, not AIMIM’s actions.
