The Paras Hospital Patna uproar started after the victim, a resident of Phulwari Sharif, died while receiving treatment for severe head injuries. Reports say he suffered the injuries during a fight while playing cricket, when he was allegedly hit with a bat.
After the death, family members accused the hospital of medical negligence and refused to remove the body. Protesters vandalised flower pots, glass panels, and other items inside the hospital.
Police teams arrived to control the situation, but some members of the crowd reportedly attacked officers. Authorities later deployed additional forces to restore order and investigate the incident.
The family also raised allegations about organ removal, though no formal complaint had been filed at the time of reporting.
