The Patna traffic advisory has been issued for people attending the swearing-in ceremony at Gandhi Maidan on Thursday. The Patna traffic advisory explains the road closures, parking spaces, and alternative routes for smooth movement. Many roads around Gandhi Maidan will stay closed from 8 am to 3 pm.
People visiting the event can enter through Gates 7, 8, 9, and 10. VIPs will use Gate 4. Roads from Bhattacharya Square to North Gandhi Maidan and from New Dak Bungalow to SP Verma Road will stay closed. Routes near JP Golambar, Children’s Park, Police Line Tiraha, and Ramgulam Chowk will also remain blocked.
Drivers must avoid IMA Hall, Twin Tower, Maurya Hotel, and Kargil Chowk routes. Roads leading to Gandhi Maidan from Kotwali “T” to Police Line Tiraha in Buddha Marg will stay closed. Only vehicles linked to the program can use JP Ganga Path.
People coming from Patna Junction and Patna Airport should take alternative routes like Jaynagar Road and Dumra Chowk–Rajabazar Road. Rickshaws and slow vehicles from Bailey Road will move through Income Tax roundabout.
Parking is arranged at JP Ganga Path, Maurya Lok parking, Veerchand Patel Path service lane, Miller High School, and Patna College.
