Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan urged officials to uplift the living standards of tribal communities who depend on forests. He directed them to design special development programmes that improve income opportunities. Moreover, he stressed the need to expand forest-based industries, organic products, eco-tourism and tourism-related activities for local employment. He reviewed these issues with Alluri Sitharama Raju district officials through a teleconference.
The Deputy Chief Minister advised officers to study the strong global demand for organic and forest products. He encouraged them to motivate tribals to grow coffee and other natural produce. Additionally, he told officials to stay connected with tribal families, understand their needs and inspire youth to become entrepreneurs. He also asked them to create new income paths and build confidence among tribal communities.
Pawan Kalyan highlighted the success of linking horticulture crops with the employment guarantee scheme. He asked officials to expand this model and explore more work options for tribal regions. He stated that better planning can offer steady income and reduce unemployment among youth.
The Deputy Chief Minister also emphasised tourism growth. He suggested promoting eco-friendly tourism without harming natural resources. Furthermore, he said film crews, serial teams and OTT content makers should be encouraged to shoot in agency areas for local employment. He assured that the government will fully support these initiatives.
