Pawan Kalyan’s OG Sets US Box Office on Fire

Pawan Kalyan in They Call Him OG poster highlighting record US advance bookings

Power Star Pawan Kalyan has once again shown why he enjoys unmatched stardom. His upcoming action drama They Call Him OG is creating a storm in the United States with record-breaking advance bookings. In just 24 hours, collections jumped from USD 82,681 to over USD 300,000, proving the frenzy among Telugu movie lovers abroad.

The momentum is remarkable. Just hours ago, bookings stood at USD 267,231 across 174 locations. The film already sold more than 9,000 tickets for 631 shows. With the tally now crossing USD 300,000, expectations are soaring. Pawan Kalyan’s loyal fanbase in North America is turning the film into a festival well before its release.

This surge is more significant when compared to his recent outings. His period drama Hari Hara Veera Mallu collected only USD 1 million during its full run in the U.S. In contrast, They Call Him OG may cross that benchmark even before release. With 27 days left, trade analysts are predicting historic numbers for premieres and opening weekends.

Directed by Sujeeth of Saaho fame, the film features Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist. His debut in South Indian cinema has further raised the buzz. If the current pace continues, They Call Him OG could deliver one of Pawan Kalyan’s most iconic openings in the U.S.
