Pawan Kalyan Performs ‘Bhumi Puja’ for ₹211 Crore Development Projects in Pithapuram
Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan on Friday performed a ‘bhumi puja’ to mark the beginning of development works worth ₹211 crore in Pithapuram Assembly constituency. The ceremony, held in Pithapuram, was attended by local leaders and residents who welcomed the initiative aimed at improving infrastructure and public amenities in the region.
Among the projects, ₹92 crore has been allocated for construction and upgradation of rural roads across the constituency, which is expected to improve connectivity, support agriculture, and facilitate economic development. The remaining funds are earmarked for other civic and development works, including water supply, drainage systems, and public facilities.
Pawan Kalyan said the projects are part of a long-term vision to enhance living standards and provide better infrastructure to the residents of Pithapuram. He urged authorities to ensure timely completion of the works and maintain transparency in execution. The ‘bhumi puja’ symbolises the formal launch of these development initiatives in the constituency.
