BJP MP Eatala Rajender made bold remarks about the Chief Minister’s post, saying it requires both party decision and people’s trust. He stated that positions come only when the party’s thinking aligns with the public mood. Speaking in a TV interview, Eatala said the BJP is a national party that knows how to utilize leaders effectively.
He clarified that he is not after power or positions. Recalling the Huzurabad by-election, Eatala said despite all efforts, former CM KCR could not defeat him. He ruled out changing parties again, stressing that it is not an easy decision.
During the interview, a Muslim caller praised Eatala, expressing admiration despite religious differences. Eatala responded that he sees people as humans, not through the lens of religion. He also avoided commenting on remarks made by CM Revanth Reddy and Union Minister Bandi Sanjay regarding the Jubilee Hills bypoll.
He further noted that many Muslims belong to the Pasmanda community, living in poverty. MP added that every community in India has reservations and that the benefits must reach all deserving people equally.
