Former minister and YSRCP leader Perni Nani issued a strong counter to allegations made by TDP leaders, directly challenging Minister Kollu Ravindra. Speaking in Machilipatnam, Nani dared Ravindra to face an inquiry by either a sitting judge or the CID to prove the charges against him.
He questioned Ravindra’s financial disclosures, pointing out that his 2024 election affidavit declared assets worth only ₹2 crore, while TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu claimed Ravindra had contributed ₹1 crore in party donations. “How can you afford that with your declared assets? Why do you frequently travel to Hyderabad every week and to Dubai every few months? Do you have the courage to show your passport and visa records?” Nani asked.
He further accused TDP leader Gorrepati Gopichand of acting as a “ de facto minister ” in Machilipatnam and alleged that false propaganda was being spread about temple lands. Nani demanded transparency and accountability.
