Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat today, September 20, for the ‘Samudra Se Samriddhi’ program. The visit will focus on infrastructure growth and maritime development.At 10:30 AM, the Prime Minister will address a public gathering in Bhavnagar. He will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for development projects worth over ₹34,200 crore.
The projects cover multiple sectors, including renewable energy, healthcare, and transport. Authorities said the initiatives will accelerate Gujarat’s economic and social growth.Later in the day, the Prime Minister will conduct an aerial survey of Dholera. He will also review the progress of the National Maritime Heritage Complex at Lothal. This ambitious project is aimed at preserving India’s maritime history and boosting heritage tourism.
PM Modi will also inaugurate important maritime sector projects. These include the Mumbai International Cruise Terminal and new LNG infrastructure. Officials said these facilities will strengthen India’s position in global trade and tourism.
The visit is expected to create new opportunities in energy, ports, and infrastructure. Citizens and industry leaders are hopeful that the projects will bring long-term benefits to Gujarat and beyond.
