Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized that Rayalaseema is emerging as a hub of industrial and technological growth, bringing new employment opportunities to the region. Addressing a public meeting in Kurnool, he said that the drone manufacturing sector in Kurnool would soon become a matter of national pride.
Modi noted that with the development of industrial corridors in Orvakal and Kopparthi, the region is witnessing a surge in job creation and infrastructure expansion. Taking a dig at past governments, he remarked that during the Congress regime, even electric poles were poorly maintained, whereas now electricity reaches every village in Andhra Pradesh.
The Prime Minister concluded by stating that Andhra Pradesh has the strength to drive India’s progress, underscoring the region’s growing role in the country’s economic landscape.
