Prashant Kishor has challenged Tejashwi Yadav’s claim of giving one government job per family in Bihar. Kishor pointed out that the state currently has only about 2.6 million government jobs, while Tejashwi’s promise would require 32.5 million more. He called the claim unrealistic and said Tejashwi is “fooling the whole of Bihar.”
Kishor, the founder of Jan Suraj, questioned how Tejashwi could create 3.25 crore government jobs when Bihar has around 35 million households. He said either Tejashwi doesn’t understand the numbers or he’s misleading the public.
Meanwhile, the NDA also criticized Tejashwi’s announcement. Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi said the RJD leader’s promise reflects the Lalu family’s desperation to regain power. He noted that there are over 28.3 million families in Bihar, calling the promise an “election gimmick.”
