Hyderabad: The Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency is gearing up for its by-election scheduled on November 11, with officials finalizing all arrangements. A total of 407 polling booths have been set up to ensure smooth voting across the constituency. The EVMs (Electronic Voting Machines), ballot units, and VVPATs (Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail) are being securely stored at the Yousufguda Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy Stadium, which has been designated as the official strong room.
Authorities have made extensive security arrangements, with heavy police deployment planned around the strong room and polling stations to prevent any untoward incidents. Election officials are also conducting training sessions for polling personnel and verifying logistics, including power supply, transportation, and voter accessibility.
The Election Commission has emphasized strict adherence to the Model Code of Conduct, ensuring a free, fair, and transparent electoral process in Jubilee Hills.
