Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann addressed a roadshow in Osaka, Japan, highlighting the importance of partnership between government and industry for achieving success. Several Japanese companies attended the event, showing keen interest in investing in Punjab. Industry Minister Sanjeev Arora, Chief Secretary K.P. Sinha, and other officials accompanied the CM.
Mann emphasized that Punjab’s approach is to work closely with industry, understand their requirements, and act as a growth facilitator. The state has strengthened its infrastructure, expanded industrial capacity, and opened new investment avenues. He added that government-industry partnership is the key to success.
The CM stated that participation of Japanese industrial companies in the roadshow reflects the strength of India-Japan economic ties, Punjab’s progressive industrial policies, unified single-window system, and growing interest of global investors.
Highlighting Punjab’s strategic location, connectivity to NCR and major ports, robust industrial clusters, uninterrupted power supply, skilled workforce, and policy ecosystem, Mann said the state government aims to create new opportunities for youth and a stable environment for investors.
During the visit, the CM and Industry Minister held multiple meetings with companies, including Air Water Inc., Tokushima Auction Market, and Global Venture Company Limited, discussing industrial gases, engineering solutions, agri-market modernization, and supply-chain partnerships.
