Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Friday unveiled the Punjab Govt Diary Calendar 2026, marking the official release of one of the state government’s most important annual publications. The unveiling ceremony took place at the Chief Minister’s official residence in Chandigarh. The Punjab Govt Diary Calendar plays a vital role in guiding the day-to-day functioning of the state administration.
The diary and calendar serve as an essential reference tool for government officers, departments and institutions across Punjab. They contain updated information on administrative structures, key officials, public holidays, important government contacts and procedural guidelines. As a result, the publication supports smooth coordination and efficient governance throughout the year.
According to the Chief Minister’s Office, the Information and Public Relations Department conceptualised and designed the layout of the diary and calendar. The department ensured that the content remained accurate, accessible and user-friendly. The Controller Printing and Stationery, Punjab, carried out the printing work, maintaining quality standards and timely delivery.
Senior officials attended the unveiling ceremony, reflecting the importance of the publication. Those present included Chief Secretary KAP Sinha, Secretary Information and Public Relations Ramvir Singh, and Director Information and Public Relations Vimal Setia, along with other senior officers.
While addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Mann appreciated the coordinated efforts of the departments involved. He said the Punjab Govt Diary Calendar 2026 reflects the government’s commitment to organised administration, transparency and professional governance. He added that such publications help officials plan better, follow timelines and maintain accountability.
