Punjab Prepares for PM Modi’s Visit to Pathankot and Gurdaspur

Punjab gears up for PM Modi’s visit to Pathankot and Gurdaspur. The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has cleared the list of dignitaries who will welcome him. The list has been shared with the Punjab Chief Secretary. Separate lists are ready for those who will see him off at both airports.

At Pathankot airport, PM Modi will be received by Governor Gulab Chand Kataria, Union Minister Ravneet Bittu, state minister Aman Arora, and Chief Secretary KAP Sinha. Corps Commander Lt Gen Chandpuria, DGP Gaurav Yadav, DC Aditya Uppal, and SSP Daljinder Singh Dhillon will also be present. Former BJP ministers and local leaders will join the reception.

At Gurdaspur’s Tibri cantonment helipad, the welcoming group includes Governor Kataria, Ravneet Bittu, minister Gurmeet Singh Khudian, Chief Secretary Sinha, and officiating DC Himanshu Aggarwal. Station Commander Vikramjeet Singh Kochhar and SSP Aditya of Gurdaspur will also greet the PM.

Two more lists cover dignitaries attending events at the Tibri cantonment conference hall. Punjab’s administration has made detailed arrangements to ensure smooth proceedings. The visit highlights the state’s importance on the Prime Minister’s schedule.
