Rabri Devi vacating residence at night has triggered a fresh political controversy in Bihar. BJP leaders questioned the timing and secrecy of the move, saying it created unnecessary suspicion. Rabri Devi vacating residence quietly from her official bungalow became a talking point across political circles.
According to reports, plants, furniture, and other belongings were removed from the 10 Circular Road residence late at night. BJP leaders said such work should have been done during the day to avoid doubt and speculation.
BJP spokespersons accused the RJD of trying to avoid public attention. They said the night-time move showed fear of transparency and raised concerns about what the party wanted to hide. The BJP also linked the issue to the RJD’s recent political setbacks in Bihar.
Party leaders stressed that former chief ministers must follow clear rules while vacating government residences. They added that public property deserves open and accountable handling.
The RJD, however, rejected the allegations. Party leaders said the residence was vacated as per official guidelines and denied any wrongdoing. They accused the BJP of politicising a routine administrative process.
The issue has once again highlighted the tense political atmosphere in Bihar, where even administrative actions are closely watched and debated.
