The seating arrangement at a recent Grand Alliance event in Bihar has created a storm in politics. Rahul Gandhi chose not to sit next to Tejashwi Yadav, instead asking Mallikarjun Kharge to take that seat. JDU spokesperson Neeraj Kumar called this an insult to Tejashwi, saying it shows the growing distance between Congress and RJD.
According to Neeraj Kumar, Rahul avoided Tejashwi because of his “tarnished image,” and this move proves Congress wants to weaken Tejashwi’s political marketing. BJP also took a dig, saying the Grand Alliance is locked in internal conflict and can never form a stable government.
At the event, Rahul Gandhi shifted Kharge from his seat and placed him next to Tejashwi, while Rahul himself sat in Kharge’s chair. This unusual move sparked speculation about the Congress–RJD relationship.
The core issue remains the Chief Minister candidate. While RJD has declared Tejashwi as their choice, Congress has not endorsed him yet. This uncertainty is deepening rifts within the Grand Alliance, leaving its future unclear in Bihar politics.
