In the current Bihar Election, political strategist Prashant Kishor said Rahul Gandhi’s influence in Bihar will remain weak. Kishor, who leads Jan Suraj, stated that Rahul Gandhi visits the state only for short trips and does not understand local issues.
He asked, “If the people of Bihar don’t follow him, why would Gen Z listen?” Kishor added that Congress has little presence in the state and mainly follows RJD’s lead. The only area where Congress still holds some ground is Seemanchal, where many Muslims support it.
Kishor praised Bihar’s record voter turnout of 65.08 percent in the first phase. He said it shows that people want real change and honest governance. According to him, Bihar’s people are politically active and hopeful, even without resources or jobs.
He concluded that a new, people-driven system is growing in Bihar, shaped by awareness rather than big names or slogans.
