Rajasthan Accident Gas Truck injured a young biker after a cylinder-laden truck met with an accident near Jaipur. The incident took place in Jaipur Rural’s Bassi area, close to the Banskhoh railway crossing near a petrol pump, on the Jaipur–Dausa road.
According to police, the truck was carrying gas cylinders and was travelling from Jaipur towards Dausa. Near the petrol pump, the truck hit a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction. The impact was severe. The motorcycle got trapped under the truck, leaving the rider seriously injured.
As soon as information reached authorities, local police rushed to the spot. An ambulance shifted the injured youth to a nearby hospital for immediate treatment. The injured has been identified as a resident of Harirampura village in the Bassi area. His condition is reported to be serious.
The accident caused panic at the spot. Traffic movement remained affected for some time. Police managed the situation and cleared the road by removing both vehicles.
Preliminary investigation suggests overspeeding and negligent driving as possible reasons behind the crash. Police are questioning the truck driver and checking vehicle documents. Locals say heavy vehicle movement near the crossing often creates danger. They have demanded stronger traffic control in the area.
