Hundreds of farmers organised a massive tractor rally in Raniwada on Tuesday. The rally marked the seventh day of their ongoing protest. Farmers gathered in large numbers from early morning. They drove tractors through the town and raised slogans against the government.
The protest focuses on several long-pending demands raised by farmer organisations. Demonstrators have remained seated on a continuous dharna for seven days. Their agitation has triggered strong political and administrative activity in the region. Officials remain on alert as the protest gains momentum.
Farmer unions called for the rally to strengthen the movement. Farmers from Raniwada and nearby rural areas joined in solidarity. Organisers urged maximum participation to ensure the protest’s success. The show of unity reflected growing anger among cultivators.
Leaders including provincial vice-president Somaram Chaudhary led the demonstration. Tehsil president Saini Dan Charan and tehsil general secretary Prabaram Chaudhary also played key roles. Sonaram Chaudhary of Meda and Hari Singh Deval of Tawidar joined the leadership team.
Protesters raised slogans of “Jai Jawan Jai Kisan” throughout the rally. Farmers said they will continue the agitation until authorities address their demands. The administration has not yet issued an official response. The situation remains tense as farmers prepare for further action.
