Re-Survey 2.0 will protect farmers’ rights, says Revenue Minister
Revenue Minister Anagani Satya Prasad said that Re-Survey 2.0 will protect the rights of farmers and landowners in Andhra Pradesh. He stated that the new survey is being carried out under the guidance of the Union Government and is following the best standards used in the country.
The Minister said the earlier land survey conducted during the YSRCP government had many mistakes. Because of these errors, many farmers faced problems related to land boundaries, records, and ownership. He assured that Re-Survey 2.0 would correct these issues and bring clear and accurate land records.
He explained that modern technology, including advanced equipment and digital mapping, is being used to ensure transparency and accuracy. Farmers will also be given an opportunity to raise objections if they find any mistakes.
The Minister said the government’s aim is to provide justice to landowners and reduce land disputes. He urged farmers to cooperate with officials during the survey process for better results.
