Reetlal Yadav Gets Bail in Satyanarayan Sinha Murder Case

Satyanarayan Sinha murder case, Reetlal Yadav bail update

In the Satyanarayan Sinha murder case, the Patna MP-MLA court granted bail to four accused, including RJD MLA Reetlal Yadav. BJP leader Satyanarayan Sinha was shot dead on April 30, 2003, at Jamaluddin Chak in Khagaul. On that day, RJD held its “Lathi Mein Tel Pilavan” rally at Gaudhi Maidan.

Following Patna High Court orders, Reetlal Yadav, Shravan Yadav, Sunil Yadav, and Ranjan Kumar surrendered before the special court. They submitted their bail bonds, and Judge Dhananjay Kumar Mishra granted them regular bail.

Reetlal Yadav will still stay in jail due to another case. The next hearing in the Satyanarayan Sinha murder case is on October 30.

Earlier, a special court had cleared Yadav of charges. But BJP leader Asha Sinha, wife of Satyanarayan Sinha, appealed against that verdict in the High Court. The High Court then reversed the acquittal and ordered all accused to surrender within two weeks.
