BJP minister Renu Devi has openly criticized Lalu Prasad Yadav over the ongoing Lalu Yadav family dispute. She defended his daughter Rohini Acharya and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai.
Renu Devi said Lalu first insulted Aishwarya Rai, who she called a “Lakshmi embodiment.” Now, Rohini, who donated her kidney to her father, faces disrespect. “Don’t insult your own people for the sake of others,” Renu Devi warned.
She also referred to remarks by RJD workers on PM Narendra Modi’s mother during Navratri, emphasizing the importance of respecting women.
The minister added that she remained silent at first, seeing this as a family matter. But as a daughter of Bihar, she could not stay quiet. She said it is sad that a daughter setting an example is being scorned while Lalu Yadav stays silent.
The dispute centers on Tejashwi Yadav’s protege, Sanjay Yadav. Tej Pratap Yadav has already criticized him, calling him Jaichand. Rohini Acharya questioned a photo showing her on Tejashwi’s seat during the Bihar Adhikar Yatra, sparking emotional reactions online.
