Revanth Reddy YSR Legacy Commitment and Candid Admission

Revanth Reddy YSR legacy commitment speech

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy YSR legacy commitment came out strongly during his speech at the YSR Memorial Award presentation in Hyderabad. He admitted openly that some people want to occupy the Chief Minister’s chair under the cover of offering him support.

Revanth explained that every week one or two people visit him. They talk politics, assure him of support, and say he should relax while they handle everything. He noted that they often compare themselves with former MP KVP Ramchandra Rao, who loyally supported the late YS Rajasekhara Reddy. But Revanth pointed out that their intentions are very different.

He reminded the gathering how YSR faced hurdles inside his own party for decades. YSR first became MLA and Minister in 1978, yet he waited until 2004 to hold real power. During that long struggle, Ramchandra Rao stood by him without seeking posts or power.

Revanth stressed that only one YSR and one Ramchandra Rao existed in this generation. He warned that some people, if given space for a week, would try to run the government by the next week.

Promising to continue YSR’s vision, Revanth announced that the Pranahita-Chevella project at Tummidihatti will move forward to supply Godavari water to Rangareddy district. He also assured that the stalled SLBC tunnel works will resume soon.
