RJD Rebel Action has started after the party’s major loss in the Bihar Assembly elections. During the review, leaders said RJD Rebel Action is needed because many rebels hurt the party’s performance. Candidates and officials told state president Mangani Lal Mandal about these rebels. Action against several leaders may begin soon on the advice of Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav.
On Tuesday, Patna division leaders, former MLAs, former MPs, and district officials met for the final review. Many workers said Tejashwi Yadav must stay closer to party workers, hear their problems, and support the organization.
Leaders added that the party can regain strength only by trusting long-time workers. They rejected Tejashwi’s A2Z vision and said the leadership must speak for the 90 percent population and stand with backward and minority communities.
Workers also questioned how poor candidates can contest elections. They asked if the party could fund at least ten poor workers.
In Patna, many pointed out that the party never strengthened its city organization. They said caste-based songs damaged the party’s image and also questioned the decision to focus on the Haryana elections.
