Upendra Kushwaha has strongly denied reports about an internal split, calling the RLM party rift and Sakshi controversy misleading. The Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) chief said some media stories created confusion without facts. He urged journalists to verify information before publishing.
Kushwaha responded after reports claimed that several party leaders were unhappy with him. The reports also suggested that some members contacted BJP leaders, raising questions about unity within RLM. Kushwaha said the party remains united and focused on its political goals.
The RLM party rift and Sakshi controversy also includes claims that Kushwaha wants a government post for his daughter-in-law, Sakshi Mishra. Critics linked this to his son’s earlier appointment, accusing him of promoting family interests. Kushwaha dismissed these claims and said no such proposal exists.
In his public statement, Kushwaha warned against spreading rumours for short-term attention. He added that false narratives damage trust and distract from real political issues. He advised the media to act responsibly and protect its credibility.
Political observers believe the clarification aims to control damage and send a clear message of stability. The issue has sparked debate in Bihar’s political circles ahead of upcoming developments.
