A Road Accident Near Patahi left twelve members of a family injured on Friday morning in Muzaffarpur district. The family was traveling to take a bath in the Ganga River, and their trip turned tragic near Patahi. The Road Accident Near Patahi happened around 10:30 a.m. when their Scorpio collided with a speeding empty school bus coming from the opposite direction.
The family had started their journey from Kothiya village in the Hathaudi police station area and was heading toward Pahelaja. The impact caused chaos at the spot, and villagers quickly gathered to help.
Locals broke the vehicle’s windows and rescued the injured passengers. Ambulances rushed them to SKMCCH for treatment. Jai Ram Pandey, one of the injured, said his father had passed away recently, and the family was going to the Ganga for a ritual bath.
The collision destroyed the Scorpio completely and also damaged the bus. Police seized both vehicles and began an investigation. Sadar Police Station Officer Asmit Kumar confirmed that all injured people are receiving treatment at SKMCCH.
The injured include Jai Ram Pandey, his wife Lalita Devi, their children, his younger brother, relatives, and the Scorpio driver Mintu Kumar.
