Rohini left Rabri Devi’s residence in tears and went straight to the Patna airport. She told the media that leaders close to Tejashwi Yadav were avoiding responsibility for the defeat. According to her, people who questioned the party’s inner circle were punished instead of being heard.
She said she had no political ambition and did not seek any ticket or position. But she still faced attacks on social media. Rohini also said that Sanjay Yadav and Rameez told her to stay away from politics before the elections, but she was blamed later.
After the Grand Alliance lost badly, the family feud widened. Many RJD workers also questioned the decisions made by Sanjay Yadav during ticket distribution. Rohini argued that the party leadership should accept accountability instead of targeting her and others.
