Visakhapatnam: Former Minister Gudivada Amarnath has accused opposition coalition leaders of creating political drama over the Rushikonda buildings. He claimed that leaders, including Pawan Kalyan, were misusing the property for publicity , holding photo shoots, and spreading false narratives to divert attention from public issues. Amarnath questioned why the government-issued GO did not classify the property as YS Jagan Palace, alleging that opposition leaders were manipulating facts for political gains.
He criticized the coalition for prioritizing political rivalries over citizens’ welfare, highlighting that temporary secretariat buildings built by former CM Chandrababu Naidu were being misrepresented in the media . Amarnath emphasized that the government continues to oppose privatization of state plants, safeguarding workers’ rights and public assets. He also condemned opposition claims about Rushikonda being turned into a tourist site as misleading and politically motivated . The minister warned that false promises and diversion tactics would not sway the public from recognizing the government’s consistent efforts and priorities.
