Sakshi Yadav from Ranga Reddy delivered an outstanding performance at the Telangana Masters Inter-District Swimming Championship held at Amberpet Swimming Pool. She won four gold medals in the women’s 30–34 age category, claiming first place in the 100m freestyle, 50m freestyle, 50m breaststroke, and 100m breaststroke events.
Her dominant run placed Ranga Reddy district on top in the women’s category. Other notable winners included J. Bhavani from Warangal in the 25–29 age group and K. Lavanya from Karimnagar, who secured top spots in the 35–39 category. Swimmers from Hyderabad and Medak also performed strongly, earning several podium finishes across various events.
In the men’s section, R. Prashanth from Karimnagar bagged gold in the 100m freestyle and 50m breaststroke in the 25–29 age group. Hyderabad swimmers G. Lakshmi Narasimha Achyuth and Syed Musa dominated their events, winning golds in the 30–34 category.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from districts including Hyderabad, Warangal, Ranga Reddy, and Nalgonda. Organizers appreciated the spirited performances and said the championship showcased Telangana’s growing swimming talent.
