The Tarapur Assembly seat in Bihar Elections 2025 has turned into a high-stakes battle between BJP’s Samrat Chaudhary and RJD’s Arun Kumar. Samrat Chaudhary, Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister, is fighting hard to keep his family’s political legacy alive in Tarapur. His father, Shakuni Chaudhary, and mother both served as MLAs here, making this seat deeply connected to the Chaudhary family’s history.
In this election, Samrat Chaudhary faces a strong challenge from RJD’s Arun Kumar. The BJP has put in full effort to retain this VIP seat. The first-phase voting saw an energetic campaign and a voter turnout of 15.8% in the first two hours. Both NDA and the Grand Alliance are confident of victory.
In the final campaign round, BSP’s Ashish Anand endorsed Samrat Chaudhary, promising Tarapur’s growth under his leadership. The local support and Chaudhary’s development promises have made this contest one of the most watched in Bihar Elections 2025.
