Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal has issued a legal notice to Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor, asking him to present proof within 15 days or offer a public apology. The BJP MP said Kishor must back his statement that officials changed the alignment of Jaiswal’s petrol pump due to favoritism. He released the notice on social media and said the allegation hurts his reputation.
Jaiswal, former Bihar BJP president and MP from West Champaran, set a clear deadline. He asked Kishor to submit documents that support the claim or retract it in public. He warned that he will file a case if Kishor does not comply. The Sanjay Jaiswal legal notice also seeks a full withdrawal of the remark. Jaiswal added that false charges mislead the public and damage trust.
The dispute has drawn fresh attention in Bihar’s political space. Kishor leads Jan Suraaj and often comments on governance and politics. Jaiswal says he welcomes debate but demands facts. If Kishor provides evidence, the matter may move to the courts; if he apologizes, it could end quickly. For now, both sides wait for the 15-day clock to run out.
