Savitribai Phule Jayanti Dialogue took place at the Government Public Mandal Library in Kota with strong public participation. The event marked the birth anniversary of Savitribai Phule through an inspiring quiz and intellectual discussion. Organisers aimed to highlight her educational, social, and literary contributions.
Divisional Library President Dr Deepak Kumar Shrivastava inaugurated the programme. He said Savitribai Phule was not only India’s first woman teacher but also a powerful voice of social awareness. He added that she worked tirelessly to take education to marginalised communities.
Assistant Library President Shashi Jain spoke about her lifelong struggles. He said today’s inclusive education system draws inspiration from her vision. Advisor Ramniwas Dhakad described Savitribai Phule as a strong pillar of social reform. He said her ideas remain relevant even today.
Readers actively joined the quiz and discussion sessions. Many participants shared views on her role in women and Dalit education. They also highlighted her poetry as a tool against social injustice. Speakers said her literature strengthened social change movements.
Rohit Nama and Ajay Saxena managed the programme smoothly. At the conclusion, participants pledged to promote education, equality, and social justice. They agreed to carry forward Savitribai Phule’s ideals in everyday life.
