In Bihar, a shocking incident took place when a Bihar priest robbery turned into a major crime. Pandit Gopal Upadhyay, a retired Sales Tax officer from Bhagalpur, was tricked by criminals who planned a clever heist. They called him to perform a puja in Kahalgaon while they looted his home.

The plan began when Gopal regularly traveled with the same auto driver to Kahalgaon. The criminals used this connection to trap him. On the morning of the crime, Gopal left home around 6 a.m. for Kahalgaon. Soon after, three robbers entered his house in Ghogha Bazaar around 6:15 a.m. and completed the robbery by 7 a.m.

They stole Rs 25 lakh in cash and Rs 50 lakh worth of jewellery, along with Aadhaar cards, PAN cards, and bank passbooks. The police are checking CCTV footage that shows three suspects, though the images are unclear. The Bihar priest robbery has shocked locals and raised serious safety concerns.
