In the second phase of the Bihar Election 2025, small parties will play a big role in deciding the fate of both the NDA and the Grand Alliance. Voting for 122 seats across 20 districts is being held today, November 11. Over 37 million voters are expected to cast their votes.
The NDA includes the BJP, JDU, LJP, and HAM, while the Grand Alliance features RJD, Congress, and CPI (ML). Chirag Paswan’s LJP is contesting 15 seats, and Jitan Ram Manjhi’s HAM is also in the fray. Both leaders are Dalit representatives and have a strong local presence.
In the Grand Alliance, RJD leads with 71 seats, while Congress is fighting 37. Mukesh Sahni’s VIP and Owaisi’s AIMIM are expected to influence votes in regions like Magadh and Seemanchal. Prashant Kishor’s party has also entered the race, making several seats three-way battles.
The outcome of this second phase will decide the final momentum of the Bihar Election 2025, as smaller parties could swing results either way for NDA or the Grand Alliance.
