Sri Lanka Deputy Minister Meets Stalin, Thanks Him for Cyclone Ditwah Relief

Sri Lanka’s Deputy Minister visited Chennai to meet Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and thank him for the state’s relief efforts following Cyclone Ditwah.
The Deputy Minister expressed appreciation for the quick response and support extended to affected communities in Sri Lanka. He highlighted how Tamil Nadu’s aid helped provide food, shelter, and medical assistance during the disaster.
Stalin said Tamil Nadu is committed to providing timely help to neighbouring countries during natural calamities and stressed the importance of regional cooperation in disaster management.
Officials from both sides discussed strategies for future collaboration in relief operations and sharing best practices in handling cyclone-affected areas.
The meeting also reinforced the friendly ties between Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka, focusing on humanitarian support and strengthening bilateral cooperation.
