Stalin Denies Dynastic Politics

Stalin Denies Dynastic Politics and firmly rejects allegations of corruption and anti-Hindu bias against the DMK. Speaking at the NDTV Tamil Nadu Summit in Chennai on Friday, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin said such charges come from political rivals who lack public support.

Addressing dynasty politics first, Stalin said anyone can enter politics, but only public trust and votes decide victory. Therefore, he argued, leaders who fail on the ground raise dynasty accusations as an excuse. Moreover, he stressed that democratic legitimacy comes directly from people, not family names.

Stalin Denies Dynastic Politics while also challenging corruption claims. He asked critics to present evidence instead of rhetoric. Additionally, he targeted the BJP, accusing it of hypocrisy for aligning with parties it once accused of corruption. He questioned whether political alliances had “washed away” past allegations.

On the charge of anti-Hindu bias, Stalin said facts proved otherwise. He noted that the Tamil Nadu government completed consecration ceremonies in over 4,000 temples during its tenure. As a result, he said genuine devotees welcomed these efforts.

Furthermore, Stalin accused the BJP-led Centre of discriminating against Tamil Nadu. He asked why education funds remain withheld and why approvals for the Coimbatore and Madurai Metro projects face delays. He also reminded the Centre that India functions as a Union of States.

During panel discussions, N. Ram observed that national parties remain junior partners in Tamil Nadu politics. Meanwhile, Ministers highlighted the Dravidian model’s focus on equity, inclusivity, and industrial growth.
