Student Suicide Case Review has sparked debate in Bihar after opposition leader Rabri Devi questioned the government in the Assembly. The Student Suicide Case Review began after a Class 10 girl from Masaurhi in Patna district died by suicide when exam staff reportedly stopped her from entering the board exam hall for arriving a few minutes late.
Rabri Devi called the incident heartbreaking and unfair. She said a minor delay should not destroy a student’s future. She demanded strict action against those responsible and asked the government to show sensitivity toward students.
Education Minister Sunil Kumar responded in the House. He said his department will examine the facts carefully. He assured members that officials will collect reports and verify details.
He added that the department will take action if it finds negligence at any level. The incident has raised serious questions about exam rules and student welfare.
